Joiking

I could not decipher the joik that I had listened to, but I just saw the emotion in the persons voice and tone when they were chanting. Not understanding a language is difficult, but just seeing there emotion in there voice, it gives you a better understanding of the story behind the chant. I believe that music could be a language because it is another way of expressing your thoughts to other people. Some things could be difficult to express to others, so people resort to using other forms of expression, like singing, chanting, or dancing. Being putting your heart into what your expressing with show your passion to help people better understand what you are trying to express.
